There
are three ways to fill the tank. On
the bottom is a Civacon Dry Break adapter.
This is a camlock type of dry break used by fuel trucks.
The fuel may be pumped in by a fuel truck.
If you do not have a way of pumping in the fuel, the same connection
can be made and by using the batch mixer pump, the fuel can be drafted in.
There is also a 2” Camlock on top of the tank with a vented tube
running to the bottom of the tank. This
would allow for filling at a gas station or from your yard pumps.
|
Since
sight tubes do not work well with gel, our units have a fuel level gauge
inside the tank and it comes with a 10” Lexan clear sealed window that
slides into the 10” manway.
This allows for safe visual observation of fuel level and gel mixing.
|
Gel
mixing is done by recirculation. Mixing
times will vary from 5 to 20 minutes depending on type of fuel used.
The inside of the tank has a tube running the full length with
several outlets. This provides
a maximum swirling action.
|
System is plumbed and wired to be used as a Terra Torch. The wand and hose may be purchased with 2400 System, or added later. The most efficient terra torch operation is achieved by using a thick gel mix. It is capable of operating with 150 feet of hose. Maximum shooting distance is 150 feet.
